Sense of wonder

I had a chance to play along with Karen Giron's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge (#15) today too. Love this sketch and square cards, so I actually made two in different colour combos! The oval got me started. I wanted to use Fresh Flowers again, but this time just the top of the bouquet of roses placed just over the edge of the oval. I still didn't have oval nestabilities, so I had to run to one of the only scrapbooking stores in my area now--The Memory Keeper in Hamilton. First visit...found lots of fun and the papers and pearls I used on the two cards.
The dancing gal and sentiment are my own created in Adobe Illustrator and printed on Gina K 120lb Pure Luxury cardstock.

I coloured the flowers and Wonder Girl with copics and pieced her skirt in matching paper. For the blue skirt I embossed soft sky cardstock with my Sizzix embosslits 'simple flower', cut out the shape and sponged lightly with blue bayou classic ink. I absolutely love the little plum pearls on the pink card corners and Wonder Girl's skirt.

Very Pretty! I love the way you used the paper to frame the oval.

WOW! I love that you created your own sentiment and image - that is fantastic! These are both beautiful cards -love them! I stop everything to go pick up something I "need" at that moment too - that's too funny.
